Jim Kilcoyne is the Center Director at the LSBDC at Northwestern State University. He has experience and expertise in natural resources, video production, warehousing and drayage, education methodology and products, and in international business. He was employed with International Paper Company, Vehicle Parts, Inc. (import/export), was an educator, and operated two small businesses. Kilcoyne has 20 years experience in land and timber management, including easements and surface rights regarding the oil and gas industry.
Jim holds undergraduate degrees from Louisiana Tech University and Northwestern State University (NSU), a master's in education technology (NSU), and an MBA from LSU-Shreveport. He also holds a Certified Business Advisor certificate from the University of Toledo, and is a certified global consultant by Nasbite International.
As director, Jim is responsible for the overall management and administration of the Center. ( Close )

Lee McCallister is a Consultant for the LSBDC at Northwestern State University. Hisareas of expertise are operations management, finance and economic analysis. He was employed by Libby Glass, Inc., owned/operated a bed and breakfast, and has served as adjunct faculty for the School of Business (NSU). As a process engineer, Lee can design and modify processes/procedures to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
Lee earned a degree in mechanical engineering, Oregon State University, and holds an MBA from Portland State University.
As lead consultant, Lee is primarily responsible for providing technical assistance in business planning and financial analysis. ( Close )
