  Mobile Emergency Alerts for Small Businesses Affected by DisasterThe Louisiana Small Business Development Center has activated READY ALERTS, its mobile emergency notification system that delivers immediate and permission-based business recovery assistance updates via text and email messages. By texting READY to (318) 769-9921, subscribers will have access to the latest news and information about recovery resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs affected by the recent flooding. Users can also visit lsbdc.org/ready to subscribe and customize their subscription to receive updates pertaining to a specific geographic area. When subscribers select this custom setting, they will only receive notifications related to emergencies in their area. There isn't a charge for this service, however message and data rates may apply. Subscribers can opt-out at anytime by texting STOP to (318) 769-9921.
