LED’s CEO Roundtables application period open for qualified businesses

LED’s regional CEO Roundtables bring together groups of 15 to 18 key decision makers from Louisiana-based small businesses 10 times over the course of a year for collaborative, growth-oriented roundtable sessions that support a trusting environment in which CEOs can safely explore business and personal issues with the guidance of experienced facilitators. Participation in the roundtables provides access to numerous benefits, including:

  • Peer-to-peer learning through discussion, interaction and the sharing of experiences that allow participants to learn from each other’s achievements and mistakes.
  • Support through highly qualified facilitators, expert guest speakers and connection to various small business resources.

Interested businesses should complete and submit application to ledceoroundtables@la.gov between February 1 and March 31.

These peer groups give executives the opportunity to discuss business practices and management strategies with like-minded business people who deal with similar growth challenges. The roundtable sessions support a trusting environment in which executives can safely explore business and personal issues with the guidance of experience facilitators, access to expert guest speakers and connection to small business resources.

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said, “these programs are a vital part of strengthening Louisiana’s economy.”

“They offer strategic support for entrepreneurs across the state, and affirm our commitment to expand initiatives for Louisiana’s small businesses,” Governor Edwards said. “Through this outreach, we want to see Louisiana’s small businesses grow under the leadership of our state’s visionary entrepreneurs and for the benefit of their many talented and dedicated employees all across our state.”

LED Secretary Don Pierson added, “LED is committed to enhancing the development and delivery of these programs to accelerate small business growth in Louisiana.”

“The strength of Louisiana’s small businesses is key to our economic growth,” Pierson said. “The programs that we provide, including the CEO Roundtables, ensure that our business leaders have access to the resources they need to thrive.”
